Toy Library

Play improves the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and young people. Through play, children learn about the world and themselves.

All items in the Toy Library can be borrowed for three weeks. No holds or renewals are allowed.

Our toy library offers toys for children ages 0 – 12

We group our toys into 5 categories:

  • Physical (Gross Motor)
    • Ride on toys, sports equipment, push and pull toys
  • Physical (Fine Motor)
    • Examples – blocks, shape sorting, wire and bead toys
  • Intellectual
    • Puzzles, letter and counting games, science toys, homeschooling manipulatives
  • Creative
  • Puppets, imaginary play (dolls, cooking and food), vehicles, weaving looms.

Our sensory library is made up of tools that can be used to calm or stimulate the sensory system. Toolkits promote regulation and improve focus.

Tech kits give children an opportunity to explore STEM concepts (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
